If it's a basic model hand watch, the adjustment method is the same for all. The hand watch has two notches, the first one adjusts the date and day of the week, while turning upwards adjusts the day of the week and downwards adjusts the date. The second notch is to adjust the time.

• To adjust the time, pull out the second notch of the hand watch. Do not adjust the time or any function of the hand watch between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM as it may damage the hand watch mechanism.

• In a non-pulled out state, rotating the hand watch notch upwards is for winding the hand watch, and it's recommended to wind the hand watch or long-standing hand watches about 30 times, which can provide some power reserve to the hand watch to prevent stagnation or inaccurate timing due to insufficient activity.
  

• Pull out the first notch to adjust the date. The date can be adjusted from 1-31 days. If you come across a month with only 30 days, it is necessary to manually adjust the calendar to 31. (Note that the calendar is adjusted at midnight, so if the calendar is adjusted during the day, manually rotate the time 12 hours.)
  

What should you pay attention to when adjusting your hand watch?

When the hand watch's day and date change, they have different speeds due to the different gears. There are two types, one where the change is completed in 5 minutes, and the other where it is completed within 3 hours.

If it is a hand watch with a spiral-style crown, do not forcibly pull it. First, rotate the crown counterclockwise to unlock the crown. After adjusting the time, rotate the hand watch notch back clockwise and push it in to lock it to avoid water penetration.

If the hand watch has a calendar that needs to be adjusted, adjust the calendar to the day before the desired date first. Then adjust the date by turning the hands of the hand watch. The date will change when the hands of the hand watch pass through midnight, which can avoid confusion between day and night caused by directly adjusting the date.
