Generally speaking, the strap of a watch is designed according to the maximum value of the human wrist, and the strap should be intercepted after buying the watch. Although you can go to the counter to disassemble and assemble the wrist watch strap or ask a watch repairer for help, it is not very convenient, and there is not much time in many cases. So we can intercept the wrist watch strap by ourselves.
First, remove the tag and film of the watch, but do not remove the film of the mirror surface, because the mirror surface will face down when the wrist watch strap is removed. Do not remove the film from the mirror surface to avoid wearing the mirror surface. Then test the approximate length that needs to be cut or use a ruler to measure it.
1. Generally speaking, the direction indicated by the arrow on the inner side of the watch bracelet is the entry direction of the thimble of the bracelet cut-off device. The thimble can be bought online.
2. Put the wrist watch strap into the watch chain cutter, and tighten the top pin on the quasi-steel pinhole.
3. Turn the thimble to push out the steel needle of the wrist watch strap.
4. The thimble of the watch chain cutter can only push out the steel needle of the wrist watch strap by about 5mm. At this time, turn the thimble of the watch chain cutter in the opposite direction to withdraw the thimble from the steel needle hole of the watch strap.
5. Put the steel needle of the wrist watch strap into a plastic bag, and pull it out with needle-nose pliers. The function of the plastic bag is to prevent the watch strap from being worn when the steel needle is pulled out.
6. The drawn steel needle also has a steel pipe about 4mm long. Pay attention to this steel pipe. It has a great effect. Remember not to lose it.
7. Whether the watch strap length is appropriate after the measurement is completed and the watch strap is reassembled.
1. The extra parts of the watch strap, steel needles and steel pipes cut off should be packed in a box or sealed bag to avoid loss.
2. Clamp the steel pipe with tweezers, and put it into the small hole on the protruding part of the watch strap first. The function of this steel tube is to fix the steel needle in the steel pinhole of the watch strap and play a tightening role. Without this steel tube, the steel needle of the watch strap will be particularly loose.
3. Insert the steel needle in the direction of the arrow again.
4. After the steel needle is inserted, it isn't easy to push it to the end. You must find a hard object to pad it under and press it down firmly. Pay attention to keeping the watch strap and the steel needle vertical, and the holes should be aligned to avoid bending or breaking the steel needle.
5. Press down firmly, press the steel needle into the watch strap hole, and then use the thimble of the watch chain cutter to tighten the steel needle slightly, thus completing the whole process of cutting the bracelet.
